MINNEAPOLIS - Nov. 5 - 2012 - Medtronic, Inc. (NYSE: MDT) announced today a grant of $250,000 from the Medtronic Foundation to the American Red Cross to support relief efforts in areas affected by Hurricane Sandy.  

Medtronic employees also are offered five days of paid leave to assist in recovery efforts.
