Medtronic plc, a global leader in healthcare technology, is adding to its Global Operations and Supply Chain leadership team with the appointment of
Dov Shenkman as vice president, Global Supply Chain.
Shenkman brings extensive experience and success in operations leadership, spanning multiple domestic and international industries and markets. Most recently, he was Group Vice President for Supply Chain Operations, Inventory, and Transportation at Walgreens.
At Medtronic, Shenkman is responsible for pan-Medtronic supply chain strategy and performance. He will be leading end-to-end planning, distribution, logistics, and trade operations while guiding expanding supply chain capabilities, processes, and programs.
“We are fortunate to have Dov joining our leadership team, especially during this critical and challenging time for supply chains,” said Greg Smith, executive vice president of Global Operations and Supply Chain. “His background and proven leadership will be instrumental in evolving our Global Supply Chain organization to be more agile, faster, and better at delivering for our patients and customers.”
Before leading supply chain operations at Walgreens, Shenkman led transformational initiatives for the supply chain organizations of OfficeMax, General Motors, and Federal-Mogul Corporation. He also consulted at i2 Technologies, recently acquired by JDA Software, a full-service supply chain management company that provided consulting, technology, and managed services, as the leader of their supply chain strategic advisory group.
