Medtronic plc, a global leader in medical technology, through its Integrated Health Solutions (IHS) division, and La Poste, an operator of digital and human healthcare services through its Health & Autonomy division, have formed a strategic partnership focused on improving patient journeys, harnessing data, and leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) for healthcare.
Both partners share the goal of helping healthcare providers transform through digital means to enhance patient care at every stage of the care process, addressing the growing patient numbers and strained healthcare systems.
As the first outcome of this partnership, La Poste and Medtronic are launching an innovative digital and analytical platform to coordinate patient journeys and utilize data to optimize care. The platform offers a wide range of digital services, including telemonitoring and telecare across several medical conditions. It also provides personalized support services to healthcare facilities for analyzing and effectively using their medical data.
The platform will soon include patient management and e-health services, allowing new players in the healthcare industry to leverage its functionalities to develop and integrate innovative services to improve patient journeys.
