Actress Jennifer Stone, best known for her role on the Disney Channel’s “Wizards of Waverly Place”, will be partnering with Medtronic Diabetes to help others living with type 1 diabetes learn more about advanced technologies that can help make life with diabetes easier. Jennifer was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in 2013, while taking a break from acting to attend college, and that diagnosis changed the course of her life in many ways. She changed her major from psychology to nursing to learn more about her own body and help others living with their own health challenges. She currently works as a registered nurse in Los Angeles, while continuing to prioritize her acting career.
