Rita Higgins' experience getting her daughter care inspires her work at Medtronic
Chapter 3
After spending years advocating for Trinity in the healthcare system, Rita developed a passion for patient advocacy. She went to school to become a nurse and worked at the hospital where Trinity had her surgeries. She later joined the patient monitoring business at Medtronic, where her day-to-day work is making sure that the right patients get the right monitoring at the right time. One day at a work training, Rita realized her present work had a direct tie to her past.
