Chapter 4
As a kid, Trinity knew that she was different. For instance, other kids didn’t spend weeks in the hospital — and they also didn’t have big scars from heart surgeries. Her childhood years as a patient changed her, and so did watching her mom advocate for her care. After her third heart surgery, Trinity grew up as an ordinary kid. And now as a young adult, she is planning to become someone quite extraordinary.
